3 Happy Crafters: A little business for me & my girls.
Once upon a time in the early '80s, when I was in junior high and John Stamos, Kirk Cameron, & Chachi were the current heartthrobs, I had a classmate with a button-making business. We would give her photos of our friends, or cut-outs of the latest eye-candy from our TeenBeat magazines, and a few bucks and days later, we'd have a pin to proudly wear on our jackets or backpacks. Kids loved it, and my classmate was able to buy herself popular designer jeans with her earnings. Life was good.
Fast-forward to 2010 and I am now a blessed mother of 3. My two girls are in grade-school and love to follow in my crafty footsteps. I thought it would be a good idea to help my girls learn real-life money lessons with their own button-making business. That's how 3 Happy Crafters was born.
Now, being a crafty person, I couldn't stop there. I figured if we made a little webstore for my girls to sell their buttons, that I may as well sell some of my other crafty items too. There's only so many gifts one person can make - know what I mean?
